I think the reason I know the program's working is because of a couple of things. One, I'm seeing the processes get improved, and I'm seeing the people be able to solve problems that they weren't able to solve before. And then when I look at, you know, our metrics, which through very metric-driven organization and, you know, it fits with our Carlisle operating system, on-time delivery in the last three years has gone from about a 7% average to 99%, working capital increased by 33% in the last two years, the cash conversion cycle has been reduced by 45% within the last three years.

From a high level, you look at those metrics and say is it a success? Probably for the lower level is seeing that light go on in a supply chain associate size when they finally figured it out, and it's because they walked right out of an APICS course and they came up to me and said I got it I figured it out.
STEVEN MORGAN - DIRECTOR OF SUPPLY CHAIN OPERATIONS | CARLISLE INTERCONNECT TECHNOLOGIES
[...] CPIM was a great tool for me. Not only validating what I already knew but also to help me find a basis of knowledge and information that was well-known and respected in the industry. I found that it helped me to speak a language that was common. It also helped me to have credibility in what I was doing, and developed some really strong processes; experimented with tools that I hadn't used before.

I don't think I would be where I am now if I didn't have APICS. Not only the network that I've developed through APICS, the knowledge that I've gained through my APICS certification and classes but it's also given me confidence in a leadership position to be able to advance. [...]
Rebecca Macdonell - Material Manager | Valmont Industries
Ingersoll Rand became involved with APICS many years ago. We had employees that were engaged in student chapters as well as local chapters. We became much more involved with APICS about three and a half years ago where we teamed up with APICS to help develop and deploy standard work across our company.

We've seen a huge difference in those folks that have gone through the APICS certification process versus those that have not. The body of knowledge that we get from APICS helps deliver great business results. Let me give you an example, "Inventory Turns" is a very important metric for us and we have data that shows that those individuals who have gone through the CPIM certification process and have passed it, deliver three times the improvement results versus those have not gone through that same education certification process.

Inventory management is very important to our company. We feel so strongly that the certification helps deliver great results for the company. We pay for that certification for all of our employees that go through these classes we pay for everything from travel to the classes; the coursework itself if you go through the online training with Fox Valley Technical College. We pay for that as well and we also pay for the certification. We feel very strongly about it not only for business results but also for the individual. We've seen great results from a company standpoint since we began this process. We had an 85% improvement in delivery results. We also maintained top-quartile performance and inventory management as well. For the individual, it's also very important because we have several examples where people got promoted and now they are leading their own factory. That helped them grow in their career.
CLARK PONTHIER - VICE PRESIDENT OPERATIONS AND INTERGRATED SUPPLY CHAIN | INGERSOLL RAND
I'm excited to share my experience with the CPIM class at VILAS. The teaching method stands out – complex concepts are distilled into clear diagrams that aid understanding and memory retention. This unique approach has made learning Planning and Inventory Management not only comprehensible but also memorable.

The course content is well-structured, covering a breadth of topics relevant to real-world scenarios. It has provided me with a strong foundation in various planning techniques, demand forecasting, and inventory optimization strategies.

Beyond the curriculum, the networking opportunities have been unexpectedly enriching. Engaging with fellow participants through discussions and case studies has expanded my perspectives and professional connections.

The administrative support has been exceptional, ensuring a hassle-free experience from enrollment to ongoing assistance. This level of care has contributed to a positive learning journey.

In summary, the CPIM class at VILAS offers innovative teaching, comprehensive content, networking, and outstanding support. It's an investment that I believe will significantly benefit my professional growth in supply chain and operations management.
NGUYEN TRI HIEU - SALES PLANNING DEPARTMENT | ISUZU VIETNAM
I must say that taking CPIM course at Vilas is one of my most interesting experiences in 2023. During the course, I had an opportunity to broaden my horizon, acquire knowledge about Supply Chain Management.
As a junior in Logistics and Supply Chain, that’s great for me to learn many helpful things such as S&OP, MRP, Lean, TPS and et cetera.

Our teacher - Ms. Ngoc delivered the lessons in such an easily understandable way with the norm “repeat to remember, remember to repeat”. Besides, any philosophy or complicated formulas were also explained clearly with many case studies by Mr. John. Therefore, I did not feel like falling behind and got the ideas very easily.
Most of members in the class are seniors and experienced in our industry but we made friends very well. Thank you all!
HUYNH THI THUY TIEN - STRATEGIC SALES DEPARTMENT | ITL CORP
My name is Mai. I am a student of CPIM course. In general, I am very satisfied with the course. From it, I can learn a lot of knowledge not only from trainers but also from my classmates who are from various industries. Regarding the trainers, Ms. Ngoc and Mr. John are very experienced, and the way they delivered the knowledge is easy to understand. Therefore, I rate this class 10 by 10.
